Since 1999, in Thrissur.
Temple Town designs and makes furniture by hand in Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala, and designs complete homes around it. A single bed and an entire house are made the same way: in our own workshop, in responsibly sourced Indian teak, by master artisans.
Meera Pyarelal calls the approach Heirloom Modernism: Kerala's craft traditions held to the standard of the world's finest furniture, and made to be inherited.
